Interview with Ocie Turner, a pastor, concerning his experiences as a resident of Hamilton Park, Texas from 1954 to 1991. Turner discusses his youth in South-Central Texas, his Marine Corps experience in World War II, his early employment in Dallas, African-American housing problems in Dallas, his decision to buy a home in Hamilton Park, home improvements, shopping, social activities, church activities, Hamilton Park School, Civic League, zoning problems, and recent changes in the community.
